How it works
Stap 1 — Become a member
Complete the registration form online and accept the terms and conditions. Done! As a member, you will be kept informed of news and can participate in our events. To drive our cars, you can choose from several paying subscriptions. You can only take out a subscription if you have a valid B driving licence and own a car for daily use. This may be a privately owned car or a company car. Once your subscription is activated, you can start driving driver.community cars. Pick up the key, the road awaits you!
Stap 2 — Reserve your car
Driver.community has a number of locations across the country. There are a number of cars at each location. These change regularly. Choose a period you want to drive and then an available car or choose a car and book it during an available period. Depending on the level of your membership, you can drive unlimited* cars from driver.community that belong to the same level. Cars can be picked up at the corresponding location and must always be returned to the same location. The parking space of the loaned car may be used to park your own car.
* The number of reservations during your membership is unlimited. However, reservations are limited in duration. Also, the maximum number of scheduled reservations depends on the chosen subscription. Each member can only lend one car at a time.
Stap 3 — Drive
On the first day of your reserved period, your car becomes available for pick-up. Follow the simple instructions in our app to collect your car. Now, let the fun begin! Enjoy your car, the road, the view, in short, your adventure. There are no mileage restrictions as long as you stay within the EU. At the end of your adventure, our app will again notify you that the car needs to be returned. Again, follow the instructions to return the car and pick up your own. Another reminder that no one can take away from you. High time to book your next car! Picking up and returning cars can be done 24/7 and completely contactless.
Stap 4 — Score points & badges
Score points by lending cars, sharing experiences, participating in events, recruiting members, etc. These points can later entitle you to nice extras.
Some cars on offer require special skills. For example, these might be cars with a lot of power or cars with tricky handling. These cars require a badge to be borrowed. Driver.community regularly origanises events where these badges can be scored. Apart from the fact that this badge entitles you to drive these special cars, it is also extremely good for your street cred.
